Rookies

Two rookies are trying their hand at competing within the K-Pop industry. See the videos for their singles below. More to come :) Now I’m off to go to my college orientation. Bore-voyage!

I haven’t had a time to let “Far Away” grow on me. They remind me a lot of the Backstreet Boys & N’Sync days with their appearance thus far. I hope that’s not the case though.

Off to college I go! :)

Past Memories

Just for fun here’s a random picture I found of TVXQ from a 1 1/2 years ago.

Oh Snap!

Who hasn’t seen this? It’s funny, major, and totally true. Just follow these steps if you want to be shot by the legendary Sartorialist. His images are chic and breathtaking. During the Prada couture show he captured a blurry photo of short men shorts and managed to snag an Asian couple.

Look at the Prada shot below and then the guide to being shot by Scott Schuman aka Mr. Sartorialist himself ;)

And now whether your a guy or girl (you can’t be undecided, sorry) just follow the guide below. (Click on the picture to see it in it’s entirety)

I just need a few things and bam, who knows I could be shot by a legend and become a legend. Ah sweet dreams are made of this.

Right Where They Belong

- On top. Big Bang has managed to stay on top with their smash single, Gara Gara Go! According to Japan-Top 20 the boys only topped the charts at #14 last week – this week (as of July 5th) they’ve risen to #3. That’s not the only place that’s indicative of their success with Gara, JPopAsia also has the boys placed as their most viewed with close to 15,000 hits in just this month. See the evidence of their epic rise below.

On Top

On Top

On JPopAsia – Big Bang dominated. The next most viewed band/song was only about 1/2 in comparison to Big Bang.

If somehow you’ve managed to be remain disconnected from the world around you feast your eyes and ears below on the song that has propelled Big Bang into the music-sphere of Japan.I’ve found this video to be my favorite Youtube version. Mainly because there’s the romanization of the words at the bottom. What can I say, trying to keep up with their singing with my superb Japanglish skills is just a favorite past time. Besides, the user added all the members names up to. I think it’s pretty ish. Definitely a major video.

Now the question is, can they stay on top? Or with the Japanese infatuation with K-Pop wane away?

Here We Go Again

and Again.

K-Pop sensation band 2PM has had photos released of behind the scenes from their spread in High Cut magazine. And wow. Holy cow/crap/wow. These guys are ripped, and I swear that in the photos below (credit to: AllKPop) it looks as if the guys are making some wet/dirty porno or something else along those tracks. Let those minds wonder, now pull back and feast below. Talk about major.

The first image below is the finished product. Beneath that, well time to uncage those minds ;)

Now here’s a look at what went behind the scenes to arrive at this High Cut.

Getting undressed ;)

Getting undressed ;)

The beginning always means that there’s more clothes on than needed.

How low can everything go ;)

How low can everything go ;)

Oh wow. Major major major image right here.

Now time for the finale. It’s time for the last image that will make your mind wonder. Jaebeom showed off his assets – his entire 6 pack, 12 pack, the whole damn thing. I swear that his front facade looks more sculpted than those 300 men from well 300. I’m pretty sure that if you touch his chest you’ll break your finger – it’s that rock hard. Ah feast your eyes and mind below. Don’t drool too much.

Yum Yum. So ish

Yum Yum. So ish

MAJOR ish. Just look at that God above. He redefines what it means to have a bangin’ bod.

New Design

I decided to change the theme. Maybe I’ll switch back or I might go for a custom design?

Calling Mr. Right

This afternoon I got an unexpected phone call from this company that pays $4+ above minimum wage ($8.55). They’re still looking for people to come work for them. Let me re-phrase that, college-bound people to work for them. I got a notice in the mail last month but tossed it aside, figuring it was spam. I’m not convinced it isn’t & I’m not convinced I won’t be mugged and beat up when I go. What’s peculiar is that I’m leaving in a month and the lady said “oh come in and we’ll see if we can at least hire you for a temporary job.” Hmm. Their level of effort is extraordinary and that’s what’s got me in a confused state. To trust them is to leap blindly but to not trust them is to act foolishly. Life is a one time thing, so I think I should try to get this job.

Boys Boys Boys

No concentration, especially after a bee just flew in my face. Sometimes sitting outside isn’t worth it. Thankfully no stings. But who knows, maybe it wanted to.

K-Pop singer Sori has JUST released the video to her single “Boy Boy” and I’m kind of digging it. It isn’t major by any stretch of the imagination, but it’ll suffice enough to keep her current fans content and wrangle in a few more. I like the beginning with the ballet. Show’s how flexible this girl is and just how beautiful. Take a first look below and listen if you aren’t already familiar with the song.

Her disco theme is growing on me, but I still prefer lips to this.

Essay Galore

College is looming on the horizon and I really don’t want to go. My life isn’t in a straight pattern, I have absolutely no clue what direction I want to take in life. Maybe I’ll do study abroad and just stay. Forget the coming home, I’ll just stay. But, until that study abroad happens I’ve got to think of an essay for my English placement test tomorrow at my college.

Apparently the two topics are 1) Write about a problem facing the world today & 2) Describe your writing style.

1) Education cuts. I don’t know =/ Washington got hit the hardest out of all 50 and might have had a reason (alongside my lackluster transcript) as to why U. WA rejected me -_-’

1 b) Or that there isn’t enough culture-cross over. To where people immerse themselves in at least one other culture. Maybe I’m just a freak, but I love cultures. Mexican, Spanish, Russian, African, Indian (Native, Hindu), Muslim, Chinese, and Korean. All of them have had a part of my life and left an imprint in some way/shape. Hmm, maybe I’ll do that. Broadening one’s horizons to understand the particular attitudes/behaviors of distinct ethnic groups.

What’s going to be difficult is the math test. Ugh. FML. One big FML. Even though math was my highest scoring subject on the SAT, I despise math. Besides, I really do suck at taking collegeboard tests. No joke. I cannot ace or even do that good in one.

Essay pt. 2

My writing style is sporadic (and despite what this blog projects, typically informative, open-minded yet a formed opinion is there within the paper. Oh and typically very wordy =/ BIG sat words, not the minuscule words but big ones :p

Oh Bryan Boy

You’ve got me addicted. Lights Out (Tepr Emo Remix) is just a major song, so major that this is my second post on it. I was mowing the lawn earlier and that song came on, I’m not gonna lie I put a strut in my step & could’ve given those Dior models a run for their skinny legs.

Work your strut with the video from the Dior show below.

Credit: stubsrules

The only thing is that some of the models remind me of trannies. Not that that’s a bad thing, but the make-up just is so fierce that it takes the models faces to a whole new perspective.
